Ridiculous Rabbits
Silly rabbit, tricks are for kids… unless you’re feeling this ridiculous.
Have you ever seen rabbits dance? I filmed this behavior in June 2007 and, while the same rabbits have nested in our yard for years, this was the one and only time I’ve seen them act this way.
Although I filmed this with a lesser quality camera, it’s still poetry in motion and a nice little treat for the Easter holiday. Enjoy!
Happy Easter: It’s Rabbit Season

HAPPY RABBIT SEASON!
Emmett and Shamus went all out to wish you a wonderful Easter weekend, complete with eggs, chocolate, and Easter rabbits. Just remember, in their minds eggs are oval-shaped dog treats, chocolate amounts to yard fudge, and rabbits are only ever good in stew. (If you think these guys make terrible Easter Bunnies, check out Holy Taco’s Top 25 Terrifying East Bunnies of all time.)
PEEPS SHOW 2010
For more wholesome entertainment, you simply have to check out the Washington Post’s continuing coverage of Peeps Show 2010. Whether you’re a fan of chicks or bunnies, everyone’s favorite sugary marshmallow candy is featured once again in this year’s Washington Post Peeps Diorama Contest.
Happy Saint Patrick’s Day!
Everyone’s Irish on St. Patrick’s Day. We Clunes (only one of which is truly Irish) are dusting off four party hats, donning some generally green attire, combing the lawn for some shamrocks, all in an effort to wish you a terrific ”Top o’ the mornin’ to ya!”
Before we head off to celebrate Saint Patty’s Day, Shamus, the honorary Irish Newf, leaves you with a bit of Irish wisdom to ponder during your drink fest and corned beef dinner:
- If you’re lucky enough to be Irish, then you’re lucky enough.
- Why should you never iron a 4-leaf clover? You don’t want to press your luck.
- When we drink, we get drunk. When we get drunk, we fall asleep. When we fall asleep, we commit no sin. When we commit no sin, we go to Heaven. So, let’s all get drunk and go to heaven.
- Don’t give cherries to pigs or advice to fools.
Have some of your own Irish wisdom to share? Leave a comment! But, most importantly, have a Happy Saint Pat’s!
