ACES Pet Rescue Workshop at BlogPaws 2011
There are few resources available to teach the art of marketing when it comes to rescued pets. The stories of these animals must be cast far and wide to capture the attention of that perfect, caring family. Not only is this important for that individual pet but, as a whole, rescue pets deserve a shift public perception. This requires us to illuminate the value of their beautiful lives, educating about their tremendous capacity for unconditional love.
ACES TO THE RESCUE
Animal welfare advocates from around the world make the pilgrimage to the Helen Woodward Animal Center (HWAC) in Rancho Santa Fe, California. There, they learn “The Business of Saving Lives” from Mike Arms, HWAC’s president and CEO. Mike is responsible for saving more pets than any other.
Mike Arms Teaches The Business of Saving Lives
This post is in honor of Blog the Change for Animals. Amy Burkert and I, as your BTC4Animals.com co-founders, took specific action on behalf of animals this month to inspire our readers to do the same. This is my story…
THE MAN WITH THE MOST ADOPTIONS WINS
If the Helen Woodward Animal Center (HWAC) sounds like just another animal rescue, think again.
The Center spans 12 acres and boasts an animal adoption facility with record adoption numbers, Club Pet Boarding, the Rancho Santa Fe Equine Hospital, children’s camps and education programs, therapeutic riding, pet encounter therapy, and more.
How on Earth do they do all this?
Mike Arms, President of HWAC, will tell you.
He’s giving away his secrets for free!
